Colours to be decided upon.

Ever since I saw the unused concept art for this Micromaster Combiner consisting of no less than FIFTEEN Micromasters (!) I had to draw it.

Alas. It didn't appear to actually have a name (or at least none I can make out from that image). Hence I have dubbed it Tumulticon! A con! Why? Because there's too few 'con Micromasters, that's why. For some reason the original design seems to scream Autobot though. It still does to some extend. Hence I'm considering replacing some vehicles if colours alone are not enough to evoke a 'con alliance.

If anyone has any particular colour ideas, please share!

I already have biographies ready for this character and in fact, all three teams! Why? For the odd chance I'd find time to continue my Micromasters comic. :/

Character concept (c) TakaraTOMY. Transformers (c) TakaraTOMY/Hasbro.

Awe-some. I can't figure out which vehicle forms his head, though (in the original picture).

That concept sounds like being based in Dairugger XV/Vehicle Voltron. Only thing missing here was a sea team! LOL I agree with you on the matter of lacking Decepticon Micromasters and I am glad you're helping to fix the situation.

I apparently missed so many robot tv shows... *sighs*

Just looked up Dairugger and you might be right. Those new Power Core combiners may have similar origins (or at least coincidentally similar origins) with these shows.

You didn't saw Voltron? Well, guess I was one of those kids that was glued to the TV all the time... at least when there was things appealing to me.

PPC seems to be just based on old TF combiners with a variation on the formula, though some seems to be inspired by the [link] " alt="Yuusha Line" /> .

Though I agree that TF combiners may have their genesis on these type of combiners. I always looked at the Scramble City combiners as TF versions of GoLion/Lion Voltron.

Nope, the first non-TF mecha series around here was Teknoman I think and we had Gundam Wing for one year, way after it was released. Not counting Samurai Pizza Cats, of course.

For Decepticon colours, I'd say Black, Purple, and gray/silver. You know what the funny thing is though? As I was reading I thought you were talking about this ([link] ) until I looked at the pic in the link and saw something completely different. Lol.

There is no rule that said that you cannot use 15 transformers in one robot, but that is a lot of transformers and looks odd. I think that is one of the reason why most combiners are no more than 6.

Possibly. However, it does typically help the aesthetics to have add on parts which this design did not.

For instance, the hip and waste area could have benefitted tremendously here from add-ons. So would the feet.

Micromasters should always be produced! Such a shame they didn't do these (or worked it out further anyway).

It does look like it'd be an interestin' combiner, eh?

hansime In reply to Regreme [2010-11-22 21:23:34 +0000 UTC]

Quite. Though you could extrapolate what a gestalt of this type would have to do to combine fifteen minds into one!

Wow. That's just incredible. Both the original and your art that is. It's a pretty cool concept, and I'd like to see more of you take on it.

Likely I'll be doing all the seperate robots at some point as well. Once I find time that is. :/
