Wow, it looks just like a real painting! Lovely work. I adore the colours you have picked, and the look of the werewolf - seeming a little confused, like he just lost his trail of thought - is really nice.

Actually, I can't really tell if the look is slightly predatory, confused at his/her transformation, surprised at the viewer's presence, or... maybe even a bit smug/gloating. Maybe a mix of those? Eh. I have a hard enough time reading human faces.
Whatever it is, I like the detail. The fur is totally realistic and matted looking, like s/he's been out there a while in that form. Background is way cool. I love forests at nighttime.

Thanks! I can't read it either. I'd describe this expression as 'ambiguous'.
I'm glad you liked how the fur turned out. I was still learning to use a quite early version of ArtRage and on the finest setting the airbrush behaved much the same as the pencil. It made the fur come out looking damp and clumped, which fit with the misty wet woods. So I got lucky, I guess.
It's high time I painted more werewolves for fun.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. The Art Rage package I used for this picture has a free version and it lets you produce painted versions of your own photos etc. Well worth a play - it's good fun!
