Alright, Diamond, I'll stop talking down to you for a bit. Just a little straight talk.
"How life is supposed to be" doesn't mean horseapples. Take it from me. The best thing I ever did was procrastinate pursuing the course of my life. There's only one thing about my life that I would have predicted five years ago, and that is precisely as things ought to be. Because there was only one thing I predicted because I wanted to do it; the rest was just expectations for expectation's sake. I carried a ton of baggage about what you do when you're grown-up from childhood into early adulthood, and I regularly stop to be grateful that I avoided properly opening that luggage before I figured out that I could dump it unceremoniously by the side of the road.
Basically, DT, stop doing things simply because you "should." "Should" is not a reason. Find the reason or abandon the action.

But yeah, I tried to write Diamond Tiara as I felt she, herself, would think about things, so she's stumped by this set of emotions, as well as being pretty full of herself in general.
