Description ok!  think i've got all the wee bits put in...now comes the labelling, which, by the nature of Adobe Illustrator, will be MUCH less pain than doing such in Photoshop.

that and the aft-facing plasma vents on the nacelle struts.  and all the insets.

anything i've missed?

When you make one of these displays, do you build all of the components from scratch or do you have access to online resources to get some of the more common elements from? I'd like to try my hand at making a few small displays and was hoping to find some pre-made components to get me started, but haven't found any so far and thought I would ask someone with experience.

i use some online stuff for reference, but i make all of the components, as vectors in Illustrator, myself.

try looking on Google for "LCARS vector".

You've missed the easter eggs that I enjoy hunting for.  I suppose those will come later, if at all, on this small ship.  Are you still planning on adding a plan view of the saucer?

Your Easter Eggs (I call them Kilroy greebles) are innovative and amusing... but they stick out like sore thumbs.  That makes them less fun to find, especially if you just want a serious MSD.

I recommend making them small silhouettes that match their surroundings in color and rough shape.
