Behold: The Mighty One, Mighty Max!This is the lava waterfall scene at the end of the very first episode. You can sorta see Skullmaster's digging vehicle up on the edge of the lava waterfall behind Max. Norman and Virgil would be to Max's right side, but I left them out because this one is all about the great chosen one! I may do another in the future, that will focus on Norman and Virgil; because Norman is so awesome that he never says anything unless it's badass, and Virgil is.. a fowl, actually. Max is jumping/falling towards the portal which will transport him to a much safer location in Australia somewhere.
This took forever to digitally paint. I did it all in one layer, on Open Canvas.

Damn I miss that show. They really don't make them like they used to. You know, with good writing and an actual final episode that doesn't disappoint. Plus, it had Norman. He was the man! = )

The dialog in that show was great! And Norman... everybody likes Norman!
I watched a good deal of that show, but I don't think I ever saw the ending until it hit youtube some time ago. It was well-done though.. a Deus Ex Machina that doesn't quite save the day, but enough and such that it keeps all the adventure going!
