EEeeee....I'm so excited to show you this pic...feels like Christmas morning.....
The idea for this came to me at work yesterday....and it was one I could NOT sit on...so here it be...a sort of analytical pic of how the Spirit of God feels to me....when I let Him in and not try to do things myself.....I looked up Spirt of God in the back of my bible......and I particularly like the definition.......
GHOST, HOLY: The Third Person of Trinity: that divine Spirit, referred to in th OT as the "Spirit of the Lord" or "Spirit of God".through which men recieve power, particularly effective through JESUS CHRIST in bringing men into fellowship with God!!!!!

You know, I had to back to this particular picture -- I was thinking about it earlier this week and today even!!
I was in our prayer room at the church I go to in Dallas, and after just taking a moment to just talk to God my mind went back to remembering every single thing I could possibly remember that He has done for me, and even the Sunday Morning I was driving down the road on the way to church, playing Gospel music out loud, and from the car and to the church building and throughout the services, and especially after they asked me to do the Alter Prayer, I was just crying and was just experiencing such an over-flow of the Holy Spirit it was just absolutely awesome!!
And even last week, I thought it would be just impossible to talk to God in silence -- because I have had before a hard time doing that -- but what an awesome experience -- the more I talked to God, the more I felt His presence, and didn't let the room sounds or the walls or the silenec stop me -- I know moreso now than ever that God is working on me big time -- so, God Bless you for placing the experience in this drawing -- Its something that was on my Heart and my Mind to say and share with.
Moreso since I have come back to Dallas, and got involved with working with my uncle's Church, Beth Eden, the more I have been growing closer to God and Christ -- just humbled, realizing now more than ever that this whole thing is not about me, and that I have much to learn, as we all of course do.

I REALLY need to remember that it ISNT about ME...I love to do drawings for God..and I know He's working thru me..BUt...I can demand "WHAT ABOUT ME!!??" a bit too much..and have to remember what its all about!!
It makes me feel good that this pic spoke to you...even If I dont remember allllllll the time who its all about..at least HES using me to do his work in some ways!!

You're very welcome -- and too, its hard also!! You want so badly to be in a better situation, you want to break out of your circumstance -- and you know you can, and things seem harder and harder ......you sometimes want to shout out "oh come on, cut a guy/girl a break!!"
But if it wasn't for God and His Son Jesus I would not even care anymore....so I thank God for each day that I wake up knowing that THEY are the source of my being!!

yes, you heard of the Christian rock group superchick. I like them. I would love them if it weren't for that my mom plays them all the freakin time! Thank god she doesn't play Casting Crowns that much

THANKS....it was one of those pic that I didnt come up with..it literally showed itself to me to be drawn.....and..originally I saw it having doves behind it...but..when I drew then they looked dumb..so..I just did the brightness behind him.......BUT.....if you look to the right of Jakes head...youll see a white squiggle that I didnt put in.....and..its in the shape of a flying dove.....WOW.it just showed up when I was putting the effects in and I didnt see it till I printed it out....HOWS that for GOD putting in what he wanted even though I couldnt figure out how........

YOu know whats cool about this......among the assorted Christian songs I was listening to to draw inspiration from...one of the main ones I was listening to wasnt even a Christian song....it was that song from Linkin Park that was the ending song in Transformers...What Ive Done..if you listen to the lyrics.its exactly what Jakes doing in this pic...facing him self..and not wanting to be that way anymore...LEAST..thats how I interpreted it....

I most certainly agree......it can be so agravating sometimes.
Back when I was younger, I used to have such a hard time realizing that not everyone is going to go for what's being offered, even if it is offered as a gift!
But we must strive to keep telling people the truth about God and His gift of Grace, and the power behind allowing Him to work in and around our lives!!

ALSO.....was showing it to a friend yesterday...and told him about what you said about the arm..then told him that is WAS there.....you just had to assume that just cause you couldnt see it....didnt mean it wasnt there.....then I said...KINDA LIKE FAITH.....so..that works as another analogy for this......just cause you cant SEE God...doesnt mean is isnt there!!!!!!!!

Cool! Personally, I think of God in Heaven and Jesus on Earth... with the Holy Spirit being like a middleman. A sort of contact between the two that links them?
