is it me or am i uploading things more often?
Nah!
Cell-shading interests me. i always wanted to try it, but i either sucked at it or i couldn't understand it at all.
every tutorial i could find on the subject never really explained it thoroughly to me since my understanding is limited, but thanks to Raytaku 's little tutorial here raytaku.deviantart.com/art/A-C… , it makes more sense

but it did, i overcame it, and this now looks amazing
on a related note, WHO'S F**kING IDEA WAS IT TO MAKE THE LAYER EFFECTS WORK ONLY ON FOLDERS WHEN THEY'RE USED IN SAI!?!! WHAT THE HELL!?!?!

EDIT: I shaded in the hand on the right because i forgot to shade it.

also, it just occurred to me that i could add the highlights in for his hair......
i'm not gonna do that though
