Hello,
This one made a commission, so it isn't available at the moment unfortunately. But if you wish I would gladly make a similar one in a couple of weeks time for 470 euro, all fees included.
Please consider that big steels like this one I can only send within the EU!

I like the blade, but is there a picture where I don't have to strain my neck to see this beauty?

I can see it's a Damascus blade. Is it also a "live" blade?

This isn't damascus. It is forged of 5160

Ah, I'd thought that damascus was a technique rather than a specific alloy, and that I could see some of the folds in the macro-structure.

Damascus isn't an alloy. It is 2 or more different kind of steels forgewelded together.
The steels are fused but not melted!
The chemical difference between them gives the patterns.Β

Thanks.
I actually did some metallurgy at college, but while it covered stuff like macrostructures and forgewelding, it didn't actualy attempt to define damascus steel.

You're welcome.
Yeah, I had metallurgy too, but we didn't learn about the cool stuff either.
Btw, if you want to see some really mindblowing steel, google the word wootz Now that's magical.
