Description
Today is a good day!It is not only, that the sun is finally shinning after this long depressing winter, but I just received some nice pictures with a finalized Yatagan, which I had the luck and pleasure to forge its blade.
The beautiful and outstanding handle praises the love, patience and high skill of its owners art!
Thanks for sharing

Yes it is! Suleiman the great also had one of these
It is sold, and I only made the blade here. But I could make you a similar, however, I am only permitted to send such large stuff within the EU

Unfortunately no, since Turkey isn't a member of the EU yet, I am prohibited. The customs office don't let me send swords and other large stuff out of the EU.

Wow! This just blew my mind
I am not familiar with all the historical swords so I can't tell if it
is some kind of historical sword
But damn it looks good O.O
Is that handle bone? It kinda remind me of bone But great work
it surely is, both blade and handle ^^
And random question, have you made arrow heads?

Nop, no arrow heads
Yes this is an ottoman sword. Suleyman the Magnificent liked it very much!
And a second yes, that is camel bone on the handle.

As an owner of a couple of original Dalmatian and Ottoman Yataghans, I'm not impressed. Then again, it's hard to reach that standard. Good work!

The blade looks very nice but the handle looks very slippery, might be a good way to cut of your own fingers.

Nice but it seems to be a little strait to be a Yatagan but I've seen similar in a Singaporean museum a while back

I mean they fly away, via airmail and I can't keep them for myself As it is stated in the post, I have forged its blade!

I could, but it's too much of an effort both in time and supplies, I can't afford that to myself at the moment
