So fun. And the position keeps it interesting... if she were hanging in the middle I don't think it would be as visually stimulating. The fact that it is bleeding off of some edges is nice.

This is a fun photo! There's a shifty look in her eyes like she is about to sneak up on someone and scare them. But then again, the look could be interpreted as "Geez, everything's upside down again!" Nice photo, and I think having this in black and white enhances the mood of the photo! I'm not sure I undertand it fully tho, and the comment "About what it is not." throws me off track since I keep trying to think of what this may not be about!

I laughed for a few minutes after seeing this one because it highlights the immediacy of photography in capturing a moment. Fair enough the shot is a studio shot because no one usually lies upside down a white sheet yet the way the hair falls gives it a candid feel. I guess if the eyes were looking directly out we would get the feeling that they were suprised but the way the eyes look to the left give me at least a sense of playfulness. Not including the nose in the crop i guess also takes care of any problems with shadow from the lighting.

When I started browsing 
It was the second time I came to the website, and I already was thinking about becoming a member. I loved this photo. It was just so out of the ordinary, and at the same time so... me.
When I was asked a member's name... Well, this was opened in another browser tab, and when I saw it, I imediately started to make a word play on "inapt", "inept", "in-a-pt" (.pt is Portugal's net code), in a apartment, inapt as I was feeling at the time, etc etc... Just thought I should share.
It's a great piece.

Good use of bright light. I like the black and white as well, it seems to go well with simplistic shots like this one. She has a very cool expression which add greatly to the picture

Looks absolutely gorgeous.
I am adoring the contrasts between the silkeness of the hair and the porcelein-pale/smooth appearance of the skin. The eyes are so dark they look almost luminous to me. The contrast is simply delicious and so perfectly done... and the look in the eyes? -Adore-.

hmm very interesting.
+ i like the use space here | ( the position in the upper right corner )
+ and i like the use of greytones

+ and the strong contrast between the 2 areas
~ but due to the white color some of the hairs are overblended ( but it's ok )
~ i'm not really sure. when i think about the use of typography here because you placed the font in a free area opposite to the only object in the photograph
( a point to discuss about )
but i dont like the
- overblended face | the eyes are there -> ok. but using strong agressive white colors like this in the whole face leads to a little lose of personality ( because there is much more then eyes and hairs and the shape of the whole thing ) a point to discuss
- that everything looks a little bit very very projected because when you take a look at the hairs and they way they are falling ( i think it would be much cooler if the moddell used to headbang a minute or something - would be more authenthig ) - because its really tooo exact distribued around the head
- maybe you think it over ... to take the whole thing on the photograph ( it's a point to discuss ) -> the hairs are cutted up on the right side

The face is cropped at just the right place along with the contrast to simplify the image as the essence of that expression.

Ya, this is neat as a high-key shot. The only thing I think I wish was there, was a bit more detail in the hair on the right. It seems a little too dark, not enough definition of hair. But I love the point of view and the eyes. Good stuff!!
