XD Just glad it turned out well altogether!! TONS AND TONS MORE SORRY for not getting this done immediately though! I... think I'll post the finished version, but not much has changed except "slightly" more lighting As for the night scheme, I figured she'd have more advantage at night (well duh XD ), although the original ref. pic for the BG was... like in the afternoon/daylight.. weird, I guess. So combined it with a night color schemed image (ink dropped their colors) with the day-time... forest setting. Took awhile to figure everything out, but came together afterwards. Hwever, I really wanted to try out that camoflauge like what you did before, but I didn't want to mess up what I had . Probably experiment on it later.

Noo, don't you worry about the time a) This was so totally uberly worth the wait, b) You have so much on your plate most of the time that I don't mind at all, c) I'm doing trades really slowly too.
Well you did really well on the background! I usually wimp out and use a manipulated photo, but you've done a great job, and I love the atmosphere it gives.
Camouflage is officially evil, so don't worry, and chicken wings.........just yes. Only surpassed by duck

OMG OMG I LOOoOoOoooOOooVE roast duck. just the crispy skin and that flavoring... mmmmmmm...

... damnit, I'm trying to shed some weight from the 4th of July gorge-fest!! xDD;;

Must... focus on... comments!! Okay!! XD I really liked how this went (was deathly afraid I was going to botch this up), but more glad you enjoyed it!! This one was... a quite a challenge--during the times I *was* motivated to draw Mae, she kept turning out "off". And there were a couple of sketches (if I can find all, if not most, I'll collage those them together and send you them through photobucket ). I probably mentioned this in the lineart... yeah, I forgot if I did xD... but when I drew the final lineart of this, it was completely random and not planned. I was at the computer cash register sketching from the reference pic on google! XD

Y'know, I was originally going to use the BG ref. pic for this drawing's BG! XD But I forced myself out of it for the sake of this commission I was working on... includes coloring, so needed more practice.

I'm currently pushing myself to sketch more though. Getting so lazy and trying to be productive somehow. xD; I'll take your word on the camoflauge xD but maybe in a future Mae-fanart

Awww, I hate it when you try and try to draw something and it never works... My sympathies. But I'm glad you did this one! (Although if you could find the other sketches and show me, that would be the awesomest thing that ever...awesomed?) And - as I've probably said before too - I cannot believe that was random and drawn at work! If I tried to draw something at work it would...just suck.
Glad I provided practice I mean, nothing wrong with an edited photo, but good for you! You are somewhat braver than I....
Andandandand ifyoudidMaefanart....I might die of awesomeness. But don't let it get in the way or anything!

D'oh! I should've posted the ref. pics... was trying to make the tree and leaves around her blury like the original ref. pic for the BG. Though actually, I kinda like it sketchy-looking. ^^

After observing the majority of awesome work without the lineart, I've been *real* tempted to follow suit. But... I like my linework and spent the most effort on that, so won't hide it entirely with color. Thanks loads!!

The chicken wings was over an inside joke from one of my IMs. XD And I'd definitely hold people hostage for them wings. Which is why I shouldn't be allowed to have a fire arm.
