I hope this helps someone out there
I've been seeing a lot of drawings and fan-art circulating around deviantart of supposed 'warrior cats'.
I'm sorry but there is a LOT of room for improvement on most people's cat anatomy, myself included
People! You can do it! Strive to be better!
Whenever you're drawing a cat, use a reference!
Go out there and find pictures of REAL cats and draw from them!
That is the BEST way to improve your artwork.
ANYONE can learn to draw. It just takes practice, practice practice.
I don't believe anyone is born more talented and able to draw than anyone else in the world. Its just a case that some people have more of a drive from the start to learn how to draw from a young age and those are the people who come further ahead faster.
But its not to late to start learning! Its never too late! Every time you draw anything you improve. Learn how to see things and draw them as they appear in life. And once you can do that, then you can start to make cartoons convincingly
All pictures belong to and were taken by me.

Wow, this is extremely helpful! Thanks a bunch!
I also really like how you first show photos, then what lies underneath. Definetly useful for comparison.

Hehe, its always useful if you have cats of your own or know of someone who has cats. You can take a camera over.
Play with the cat and feed it treats and get him/her to walk back and fourth a hallway getting photos of its walk cycle

I live with my parents, and my dad is a Strictly "NO animals" type. Especially since my siblings got dogs and bring them over all the time XD. My other sister has a cat, but he's fat and lazy and doesn't move -_-' haha.

Owwwww thats a shame
My cats are a bit lazy too
Just takes the catnip toy and/or a laser pointer and that moves em'

Haha, suckish. This one's kinda psycho, He'll be like, laying there all peacefully and sluggishly then all of a sudden Tear across the house like a Banshee, and He's not a light cat, so he thumps thumps thumps as he runs. Then he'll just flop over again close to the same spot.

This is a great tutorial, not just for warriors I like how you showed all these different poses (and the heads in the other parts too). I think a lot of people do wolf-like poses for kitties too much

Yes they do
Cats are very not wolves
Thankyou very much!
