This is Coles.Coles and Karak are named after the Spanish word, βCaracoles,β meaning snails.

This proves what I said in your deviation of Blaze! You're really taking to that particular style! I honestly don't think you'll need two more years, as you'll simply develop more as an artist if you put the style to use in form of the manga, IMO.
Anyway, very nice character design. Coles almost reminds me of Goku in the way he was placed on earth, found by some free-spirited, relaxed human, and taught the ways of 'humanity'.
With his disability though ( the tainted energy ) I can see him either being pathetically weak, or incredibly strong, I personally hope it's the first considering that it's been forever since we've seen a strong Namekian!
Keep up the good work, these submissions are really hyping me up for your manga, and I'm not even a huge fan of the Anime genre of illustration!

Understood! It's the same thing with me and my graphic novel design, so I respect that decision.
As far as Coles' development I do agree, I assumed that was the case however as you're well aware the Namekians looked so weak in comparison to the rest of the cast and just from reading this small bit I was afraid that this would be his fate as well.
I know it's silly as I have absolutely nothing invested into your storyline, however growing up on the DBZ universe I developed an uncanny appreciation of the Namekians and was so pissed that they looked so weak post Dragonball/ Early Dragonball Z.
Either way, take your time! I'm just sending bits and pieces of confidence out there to you, that's all!

I love Namekians too! They're actually my favorite race! : D That's why I'll be elaborating on them from different angles--their culture, religion, biology, history, etc etc. Cuz as much as I love Toriyama-sensei, he didn't do any of that. ; ~ ;
And don't worry, every one of the characters will be useful, even humans without any combat skills. I also didn't like how Toriyama made saiyans too overpowered and left others pretty much helpless against new threats. :/ What a waste of cool characters!
