The next day, Hermione and Martha went to the vernissage. Hermione was wearing an elegant gown she still owned and Martha had conjured up a similar one for herself. They already had a talk with the owner of the gallery, who offered Hermione his help in selling her paintings. Martha and Hermione were just watching the works of a fellow artist, when two men approached them.

“Hello! My name is Carlo and this is Stephan! You two are artists, I supposed.” The taller man addressed them both while giving Hermione a broad smile. Hermione immediately felt annoyed by these men. Their clothes left no doubt about their intentions: dark suits, white shirts with the top few buttons open and several gold chains that hung on the bare, hairy skin exposed beneath. Hermione knew these jerks wanted to hit on them.

“We wonder, what are you two beauties gonna do after this art… show.”

Hermione rolled her eyes. She knew she had guessed their intentions correctly. Stephan tried to woe Martha in the same fashion. “We know a great club nearby. And the night is young…”

“Forget it! We are not interested. Get lost!” Hermione yelled at him.

“Babe, you don’t know what you are missing!” Carlo replied.

This was the final straw. “Oh really?” Hermione replied in rage. “Maybe you are missing something. I really wish you’d learn what it means to be a woman, who is constantly annoyed by testosterone-driven jerks like you!” Suddenly, she realized that she had just stated her second wish and covered her mouth with her hands. But Martha, who was seemingly annoyed by Stephan too, spoke: “A wonderful idea, Mistress. I’ll grant you that wish for free!”

Martha blinked and Carlo and Stephan felt a strange feeling wash over their bodies, from head to toe. As both looked down, they saw that their hands and arms had changed into slender and very feminine limbs. Both had well-formed bosoms now and also everything below their waistline had changed too. Even their clothes changed into evening gowns, like most of the female visitors of the vernissage were wearing. Two high-pitched screams drew the attention of the other visitors. Some even turned towards the two new women, when the static of a microphone as heard. An older man started a speech about the vernissage and the new artists who showed their work there. Soon, all heads had turned away from the four women. The woman, who was formerly Carlo, rushed towards Martha instead. “Did you do this to us? Turns us back, immediately!” she demanded.

“Yes, I did that to you! But I won’t turn you back now. You’ll have to learn what it means to be a woman and being constantly harassed by guys like you were.” Martha explained. “If you learn that lesson, I’ll consider turning you back into men.”

“You can’t do that! You can’t leave us like this!” Stephan complained.

“You have no idea what I can do to you! You’d better leave us alone or else... Do you understand... Carla, Stefania?” Martha asked with a stern voice. Her long hair was flowing around her head and her eyes sparkled menacingly.

Tears streamed from the eyes of the two new women. They nodded and turned away. At that very moment, two other men, dressed in a similar fashion to how Carlo and Stephan had been, approached Carla and Stefania. When the men started hitting on the two women, Carla and Stefania knew that their predicament had just begun.

Some hours later, the vernissage ended and the guests were leaving. As Hermione, Martha and Tony prepared themselves to leave, they spotted Carla leaving on the arm of a man. Hermione and Martha laughed at this sight, while Tony didn’t understand at all what was going on.

“It’s the highlight of a very good day!” Hermione explained. “I sold two paintings and got several commissions. All of my wishes came true.”

“It seems so, Hermione!” Martha snickered.

“Ladies, I’m hungry. How about we go to a nice restaurant to celebrate?” Tony proposed. Hermione and Martha agreed and soon all of them were off to the restaurant.
