I'm just now getting into foam crafting; yours are some of the best tutorials. Thanks! There are similarities with leather (I've done quite a bit of that) in the shaping, but the finishing is totally different, as you might imagine.

Dragon Con, but probably we'll be reusing it for other cons too as it's coming along so nicely. As soon as it's done I hope to be able to get some shots of him in it prior to the con to post on DA.

Thanks! I actually live in Philadelphia PA, my boyfriend lives in North Carolina, but we're considering checking out non-local conventions at some point, so we may yet run into you

I absolutely love your tuts, thanks a lot for them, I already bought the equipment I need, but there's one question remaining: What material do you use for painting the armour? Spray cans, or acrylic color or something else? Thanks in advance.

I use spray paint because it's easier, but it tends to be more brittle. If you want it to be more flexible, gloss acrylics work well.

thank's for the reply, I appreciate that you take the time to respond to questions, not every deviant-artist is like that.

Good luck! There are lots of tutorials on what to make, but not how to make it, so I figured I'd show the process more
