Description Here is a tutorial of how I made my custom weighted companion cubes. Feel free to make your own but please take pictures and show me your results!

Weighted companion cube and aperture science were created by Valve for their game Portal. ^_^

I was making them as christmas gifts so I changed up the heart to other symbols depending on the person.

I used a foam block instead of wood was easier to make, and now when I throw it at someone they laugh instead of trying to beat me up.

I made a companion cube out of clay~
it has a keychain attachment and a 1 inch total height. took a full hour to make, not including molding time. with molding time, it was 2 hours. (i have crappy tools available to me and no money for better ones...)

It's about 3 inches across or so. I'm not sure how easy it'd be to make a life sized one... you'd probably have to make it out of wood.
