Description
Some people asked that I make a tutorial on how I made my Wheatley and Space plushies, so here it is!

Here's the ball template: [link]
And here's a different walkthrough in case you're completely confused by my "explanation": [link]

If you have any questions, please ask! I'll do my best to answer them!

i used sheets of felt, i don't know exactly how big they were but they were smaller than a regular piece of paper

for the light grey, about 2 sheets will do, the dark grey...maybe 1 sheet, same for the blue. but i would buy extra, just to be safe.

Hate to be a pest but how do you do a knot? Whenever I'm using a back stitch I just sew over the tail to keep the stitches in place.

i just sew a little loop at the end with the thread and instead of pulling it tight i pull the needle through the loop and then tighten it, and probably do that a couple more times for strength. i dunno if it's considered the norm for sewing or anything, but it works for me!

Hey there! I have a quick question. I noticed you used the precut sheets of felt. Do you recall how many of each you needed?
And thank you so much for sharing your pattern! My first plush was a companion cube. After making a few off topic doughnuts, I plan on making a core (once I figure out who to make). Now, if I could get someone to share a decent turret pattern...

Homemade-Happiness In reply to TheWaffleFox [2011-12-05 04:00:48 +0000 UTC]

I think managed to get 4 shapes on each piece of gray felt, so that was 2 sheets of the light gray, and then you'll probably only need about one sheet of the rest of the colors. c:

Ah, thank you so much! There will be a shopping trip tomorrow. If I can sucsesfully make one, I plan on making most of the cores, if not all! Just need to decide who comes first...
Thanks again for sharing, I appreciate your generosity.
