Here is a tutorial of how I made my custom weighted companion cubes. Feel free to make your own but please take pictures and show me your results!Weighted companion cube and aperture science were created by Valve for their game Portal. ^_^

I made the cutters out of sheet tin, which you can get at a hobby store.

So gonna get the stuff tommorow.But I wonder.The tin . if i have a 4 inch cube how big will the tin be and how do i make the cookiecutter shape? Any tips on how go get it the straight?

You don't have to do it with a tin cutter, you can just cut them out by hand, there are just a lot to cut out.

Woo yay! I've been wanting to make my own Companion Cube since I first played the game, but wasn't sure how to go about it. I was thinking of carving one out of wood, but your way looks so much easier. Thanks for sharing this with us.
