Well this is my first tutorial!So many people ask me how I do fire and such. So here ya go!
Enjoy!

Also, if anyone has any questions else on it please either leave a comment or just note me and I'll do my best to answer the question. Plus if you have a correction with spelling or something, please let me know that as well.

EDIT: Also the file is pretty big...like 2.7 meg I think. So please be patient. Sorry sorry to dial-up users >.< I was trying to make it as detailed as possible so that even people who have never used photoshop might be able to follow it. So there are lots of pictures and everything.

Gradient Map is nice. I loked at yours and it's cool too cause you can get more "up and down" type flames. Glad you liked it and it was useful ^^

before i was drawing fire using the pencil tool covered by a glow from the brush... its good for radiance, but it doesn't hold personality. your method however, does. thanks!

Thanks very much ^_^ There are lots of different ways to do fire. I just learned a new way from someone else. It's more controlled, but it doesn't give the same effect. So ups and downs for different styles of fire. Thanks again
