I'm still giddy about getting featured at Pyramid-Gallery, so to celebrate, I thought I would post some Hellraiser art featuring another one of my other cenobites. This time we have Silence, the second known victim of the Odyne Configuration (well, actually... Luciva) and the younger 'sister' to Lady Chatterley.
'Silence' is named such not only because she was born mute, but also because she's extremely quiet. It's almost as if she glides around the labyrinth, causing pain and suffering with the greatest of ease, and there are so many deserving people around. Her favourite 'tools of the trade' are the many many knives that adorn her 'Winky-Dink' style belt.
Her mutilations came out REALLY subtle. Not only have her eyes been replaced with those weird lens/goggle things, but the sides of her face have been slice open and then crudely sewn shut (barely noticeable here) and she has a tiny fish hook digging in-between her boobs. Also, while not a mutilation, she hands are permanently stained with blood.
Oh, and before anyone who read the profile for the Odyne Configuration asks "If she was dragged to Hell in 2005, then why does she look like an adult?". My explanation? Time passes differently in the Labyrinth. Besides, cenobites are all about the re-Configuration of the flesh...annnnnnd that's my explanation.
I'm going to try and drawn up a full body pic of "Little Brother" as the next in this series.

After all those you showed us from Hellraiser.. this one looks... odd. Hey! Look what's on her belt and I thought there were goggles. Quiet assassin. Sexy, just by her leather... who hides something we'd prefer not to watch...
Seems she had enough of her victims screams as noise. Brr! *shivers* That's not something good to say.

Well, Butterball was a bit odd in the original quartet. He was not only overweight (although I've seen heavier cenobites in the comics), but Butterball wore a pair of sunglasses to hide his sewn shut eyes. Silence's eye on the other hand, have been completely replaced.
Silence is arguably the most sadistic of the quintet as well...not that it bothers her peers. >.>; Thanks.

You know, of the three I would say this Cenobite's get up is the most simple of the group (so far anyway). Usually we see a lot of extra hooks and chains and sometimes they cause a clutter effect... Does that make sense? I feel like I'm rambling here.

It depends on the story actually when it comes to the comics. They help build up the mythos with a the occasional bad story here and there, as well as the occasional bad art. ^.^;

I really like the look of this character! Very refined, but still with those little marks to show that she's...well...a monster that plans to mutilate and torture you.
Though the dress kinda reminds me of Luciva's fuku a bit...

Well, Luciva's fuku is based on the leather deisngs from Hellraiser...because she's not only a SailorMoon fan character, but a Hellraiser fan character as well.

Hehehehe...I think I understand. It's obvious that there would be similar designs between all the Hellraiser-based characters...I just thought that Silence looked ESPECIALLY like Luciva since they have similar skirt designs.
I'm actually surprised to see such a modest Cenobite -- it seemed like a lot of them had a habit of baring a lot of skin!

Nah, there are quite a few cenobitic ladies who don't bare much skin (the original Female Cenobite, Angelique, Bound and Stitch come to mind. Also, Balberith from the comics didn't show much skin either, but then again Balerith was an old lady).
Well, Silence is the youngest of the group. We can say she resembles her 'mommy' Luciva.

There's something quite menacing about those eyes, the way they stare. You really can't see her face or any sign of what she's thinking; gives her an extra 'silence' of character. A blank slate that could anything at any point. Love the outfit and the tool belt, very effective. Great design, very creepy.
