"Tormented daily by the other children at the orphanage, the blind and mute Annie sought comfort in the cool rugged surface of the Strange Puzzle Box she found lying half-buried at the playground, but instead was shown what she could truly become via the hand of the Guardian. As a reward for her willingness to join the Cenobites, she was given the gift of sight."

I'm still giddy about getting featured at Pyramid-Gallery, so to celebrate, I thought I would post some Hellraiser art featuring another one of my other cenobites. This time we have Silence, the second known victim of the Odyne Configuration (well, actually... Luciva) and the younger 'sister' to Lady Chatterley.

'Silence' is named such not only because she was born mute, but also because she's extremely quiet. It's almost as if she glides around the labyrinth, causing pain and suffering with the greatest of ease, and there are so many deserving people around. Her favourite 'tools of the trade' are the many many knives that adorn her 'Winky-Dink' style belt.

Her mutilations came out REALLY subtle. Not only have her eyes been replaced with those weird lens/goggle things, but the sides of her face have been slice open and then crudely sewn shut (barely noticeable here) and she has a tiny fish hook digging in-between her boobs. Also, while not a mutilation, she hands are permanently stained with blood.

Oh, and before anyone who read the profile for the Odyne Configuration asks "If she was dragged to Hell in 2005, then why does she look like an adult?". My explanation? Time passes differently in the Labyrinth. Besides, cenobites are all about the re-Configuration of the flesh...annnnnnd that's my explanation.

I'm going to try and drawn up a full body pic of "Little Brother" as the next in this series.
