Where Justice presides.Sometimes Minister Frollo's face lends itself really, really well for these exercises in stark black and white.
I took a shot of my own head for the shadowy references. The Palace, ofcourse came froma screencap from HoND. Stark black suits her.
Materials: Marker and fine-liner.
I love Claude Frollo!

Thank you! This piece kind of drew itself. I love his features so, so much and he is so much fun to "De -Disneyfy" and made a little more real. He has so much potential!

What's really cool about this is that it reminds me of those old Vincent Price movies, like Fall of the House of Usher. It shows the gothic building and then Vincent's face hovering in front of it. Ominous and awesome is how it looked, which is what your picture is too! Love it! The Palace of Justice has eyes, cold and steel, observing everything!

He is driving me nuts! Can't stop! Hmm, that coincidentally the second time today (unrelated) that vincent Price is mentioned around me. I love quirky stuff like that, I can totally say why you would say it. Those old movie posters were works of art, I tells ya.
Funny you should mention that, I've got a little thing in Breaking Horses about the lay-out of the Palace, and it reminded me of it when you said that. *grin*

You do know of course that Vincent was used as well for a model reference for Frollo. It just makes things even more perfect about this picture!
