The overlay layer on step #13. Or, was it the masked layer turn to overlay from step #12?
And then, do I have to fill blue colour to have the exact effect as yours (step #13)?
Lastly, does every colour have different layer and you shaded them on the same base colour layer or the other way round?

The overlay layer from step#13 is the same masked layer from step #12, yes : )

I suppose to achieve the "exact" same effect as my drawing you could use blue, but it's nice to mess around with the colors and try different things until you like it. I recommend repeating 10-13 to create multiple "masked overlay" layers in order to do so and play around with the colors until you achieve your desired effect.

Well, most of the time when I lay down base colors, it ends up on the same layer -- but you do not have to do it this way, it's just the way I do things, haha. The masked overlay layer will be a little trickier to achieve with different colors on different layers, though. There are ways of doing this and you need only ask, and I shall assist to the best of my ability ^^
