Another Elder Scrolls character! Saynar! My main in Skyrim. She's a descendent of Lalruse, haha. Bloodlines, I'm such a nerd. She's technically part Imperial (1/4, if I do my math correctly), but her mother was fully Dunmer and it's the mother's genes that counts toward racial features and lifespan in the ES 'verse (now you know!). Anyway, because of that I tossed in a bit more paleness and slightly lighter eyes. You can't get rid of all of your ancestry.

Backstory go!

Backstory: Saynar was born in Skyrim to a pair of refugees from Morrowind (Donosal Terandas and Bennum Nananissit--son of Lalrashi Nananissit/Llaalruse the Blind). Living with her family in Whiterun, she grew up admiring her mother's skill with magic and her position among the mage at the College of Winterhold. She thought her father's thievery to be disappointing, however, and when her mother passed away during a bout of fighting in Markarth, Saynar decided she would follow in her mother's footsteps in order to, as she might put it, "dredge her family out of financial peril and make up for her father's crimes". Unfortunately for her, she had a natural predisposition towards thievery, with sticky fingers and a natural ability to completely disappear, thanks to her birthsign. Determined to prove herself more like her mother than her father, she attempts to (unsuccessfully) ignore her inclinations toward the school of Illusion and sneaking behavior and instead focuses on the school of Destruction and, her real passion, alchemy. She is currently attending the College of Winterhold and she has manged to proceed past being an apprentice, but her frustration with her abilities tends to hold her back.

And that's about where she is as I play her in Skyrim! Sneaky mage. She has a tendency to steal alchemical ingredients more than anything, for the record. She loves alchemy so much that she considers it worth some minor shame in order to get rare ingredient. (And, while we're on the topic of thievery, which naturally leads to her dad, she does care about him, and he's always told her that he only steals from people who can afford to lose some of their wealth, but Saynar is stubborn and very young for an elf, so she hasn't gotten over it yet.)

Also of note, her family is not well off (her father's thievery does acquire some good money, but they are by no means rich), so her jewelry isn't the highest quality in the world. Her circlet and the pin on her sash are copper with mirrored glass gems (and opals, in the case of the circlet). Her clothing is also of decent quality but is by no means luxurious. Her sash is from the College, so it's a bit nicer, but her own woolen robes are stout, well-made, but hardly decorated. Yes, I'm enough of a nerd that I carefully consider these things.
