Oh my god. you people realize that the artist doesn't get to choose what get's a DD. i still have no clue what so ever of why this was chosen as a DD so stop discussing it here. if you dont like it. tell the proper people you can find it here FAQ #873: What do I do when I disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?
and as for "lumping cutting and suicide together", what can i say... i'm sorry. i'm not going to change it now, and at the time it was what was going through my mind.
for the people who are saying stuff about how cutting can be good. well. i wont lie, my best friend used to cut. she did it to relieve stress. but from my personal standpoint, i know it isn't healthy, and it is something i am very glad i never did.
and if i was refering to assisted suicide i would have put that so please stop using that as an argument as well. i was talking about self suicide. like slitting your wrists or hanging yourself and so on.
any other haters out there... well i'm sorry you feel that way i am not here to change your feelings however.

a person should never have to have a cry for help. they should have friends there to support them before it comes to this.
i only had one friend, who has saved my life. at least once if not more. her exbest friend threatened suicide as a cry for attention not a cry for help... why do that?

I had many of my family members commit suicide, but that's not to say I didn't support what they wanted to do. Seriously, my uncle was dying of cancer, and if he really wanted to end his life faster to ease the pain he told us he was feeling then I wasn't going to stop him because I'm not the one going through the pain, he was. Though it was sad when he died, it's not really something I wold have said, "I don't support this," to. :/

Smexy, sometimes DD's are made to promote something not solely for its artistic value. It would be better if things were supported just for artistic value, but oh well. Even so, it doesn't look bad.

i attempted suicide last year by jumping of my 3 story house in to a shall0w pool. I almost died, but didn't. I like this stamp a lot, because these things have affecting so many peoples lives.

Good for you! I am sick and tired of my good friends cutting themselves. I try so hard to talk them out of it. Then when I get a cat scratch people walk up to me and go "Oh did you cut yourself this morning?" Like WTF! Self-cutting has gotten out of control that its all people ever think about doing. If any of my friend commit suicide I would be depressed, so out of morality I am favoriting this stamp.

You're confusing Human Euthanasia and Animal Euthanasia. I'm talking about people who are very ill and who choose to die.
Involuntary euthanasia is conducted where an individual makes a decision for another person incapable of doing so.

People cut themselves to forget about the pain, or to ease it.
But what they don't seem to think, is that it leaves a scar [usually], and for the rest of your life, you will remember the pain that caused you to cut yourself in the first place.
