Oh my god. you people realize that the artist doesn't get to choose what get's a DD. i still have no clue what so ever of why this was chosen as a DD so stop discussing it here. if you dont like it. tell the proper people you can find it here FAQ #873: What do I do when I disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?
and as for "lumping cutting and suicide together", what can i say... i'm sorry. i'm not going to change it now, and at the time it was what was going through my mind.
for the people who are saying stuff about how cutting can be good. well. i wont lie, my best friend used to cut. she did it to relieve stress. but from my personal standpoint, i know it isn't healthy, and it is something i am very glad i never did.
and if i was refering to assisted suicide i would have put that so please stop using that as an argument as well. i was talking about self suicide. like slitting your wrists or hanging yourself and so on.
any other haters out there... well i'm sorry you feel that way i am not here to change your feelings however.

((They say it's to relieve pain)) Some people feel it releases their emotional pain and makes it into physical pain.

Aaand, you slice your wrist where there are major blood veins...with a razor blade. And that's not dangerous? really? wow. alrighty then. I mean...maybe if your blood clots easily..but otherwise, yer gonna bleed. And having some nasty razor continuous going in her skin[and blood] then being put aside to the next time you feel like cutting yerself. There are always chances for infections. -.-
And I really don't understand...emotional pain over physical pain. Kinda sounds like the same to me.. -.- whatever.

Okay, that's good. I hate online fights, so I do my best to stay out of them.
People don't always cut their wrists.
But that's a good point about the infections. It's a good idea to clean out wounds, and I hope most people who hurt themselves do that.
Some people find emotional pain worse. I'm pretty sure that when people hurt themselves, it's a release to them from their pent-up emotions.

Wow, ther are a lot of mixed opinions on this stamp. A stamp is a stamp, if you dont agree with it, dont use it!
Personally I dont support suicide or cutting, I feel that it's a poor way of dealing with depression and other troubles. I think can border on selfish, especially for some of us who have to fight so hard just to stay alive.

One of the truest stamps I've ever seen. And I would absolutely use it if I had a subscription. I was contemplating it myself for months but then stopped and thought about how many problems that would cause for everyone else. I'm trying to get help now and can only hope things will get better.

I do not support this stamp fully. I hate do not support suicides or attempts of it, but I don't have any objections on cutting yourself. If it works to heal some inner pain by torturing yourself than why not, it's every humans right to do whatever he wants with his body if doesn't concern other people, and if you're alive and happy with it than piss of with your dumb logic (please)

it's your choice not to support this stamp. but i dissagree... cutting leads to suicide... or it's a cry for attention. i dont see it healing anything. it didn't help my best friend. when she cut...yeah for a little while... but not permantly...
and its everyones god given free will to make their own decisions.
