Description
"Goth"The whisper coiled around his head.
"Goth"
"Here I am" He said drowsily.
Sound pictures were painting themselves on the walls and roof like moving hieroglyphs. A jaguar, a feathered serpent, a pair of unblinking eyes without pupils.
"Who am I?" The voice asked, grazing his ears.
"I know you," He said, and faltered, suddenly afraid to utter the name, now that he was in his very presence.
"Tell me"
He swallowed. "Cama Zotz"

Alas, I have finally removed myself from the infernal device known as the playstation in order to draw sommat. I wanted to try drawing Goth, for he is probably one of the characters I draw the least. I don't quite feel that I did him justice though... he seems a bit off somehow. Also, Camazotz's eyes are supposed to "Blaze blacker than any night", buuuut I don't know how to draw that >< so they are white now.
Anywho, 'tis Goth's trippy dream from the beginning of Sunwing.
EDIT: (Whenever I read this part of the book, I can't help but hear Zotz talking in the voice of the G-man from Half-life 2...)

You could've made the background a very dark shade of grey, and black eyes could've been possible.

I could have, and the idea had occurred to me, but it is a cave at night, It really couldn't be anything but black. Plus, black on dark gray isn't very noticeable
Literary pieces certainly can make stuff sound awesome, but it makes things horrendous to illustrate.
I know! I just can't stop hearing him all throughout Firewing... but G-man's voice is certainly rather creepy the way he starts and stops randomly, and changes pitch constantly. It fits Lord Zotz quite nicely

Maybe you could also try a dark shade of brown, as the limestone walls of most caves are in fact, brown

I redrew the jaguar using a reference from that episode, but the snake and twirly... thingy... were entirely of my own devices ^^

I'm trying to figure how something can blaze black... as typically blaze means it's bright in color. Alas, I'll never know what it means unless Zotz wants me to, and since I've fallen short on my sacrifices recently, I don't think he does.
