Thanks, they took quite a while to make and almost were to much for my computer to handle.

This looks like an excerpt from the real movie! I especially like the clouds. They look so realistic and at the same time like something from another world. These are clouds from fantasy world, the ones that aim to devour you anytime.
Impressive work!

The model is excellent but the clouds are awesome! I can see how this would take 20h to render.

That toothless model is nice!. But 20H rendering? o.O
Also, try to achieve the reflections of the scales and it will be pretier.

Thank you My laptop really had problems with volumetric rendering xD
Initially I made the skin more glossy and it looked really weird. I guess you would need to use a bump map or model the scales by hand and then only apply the gloss to certain regions of the mesh. I don't know if I'll go through 20 hours of rendering again though xD

Try to search for Specular maps. Have you already mapped a texture for it?

I used a noise texture to make the color and reflections vary a bit. But I couldn't find useful Specular maps
I don't think you can make the scales with a bump map, unless you draw it yourself.

I used the textures and edited it. I still have to give that specularity some more thought. Thanks again!

This looks great! I love How To Train Your Dragon movies!
Add a little more gloss cos in the movies his scales r a bit reflective. That will also help define the form of the model a bit more.
