In yet another style! I actually think I prefer this one out of the bunch. They may not look realistic, but I'm liking the soft shading and they kind of remind me of some of the official badge artwork.Fae Badge - Fairy

Rhythm Badge - Electric
Pearl Badge - Water
Sand Badge - Ground
Corn Badge - Grass
Swelter Badge - Fire
Frost Badge - Ice
Beats first Gym with a Steel-type, which is now strongest Pokémon on team!
Second Gym: Fuuu- (Steel is weak to Fighting)
Catches and trains a Flying-type to beat Fighting-type Gym.
Beats second Gym with said Flying-type, which is now strongest Pokémon on team!
Third Gym: Fuuu- (Flying is weak to Electric)
Catches and trains a Ground-type to beat Electric-type Gym.
Beats third Gym with said Ground-type, which is now strongest Pokémon on team!
Fourth Gym: Fuuu- (Ground is weak to... well, you get the idea)

I was a little confused at first when I read that there was a fighting type badge because that 'thing' (I'm exagerating) looks like a rock. Sorry.

You know I thought the 'ear of corn' was a so-called emerald portal from Dorothy and the wizard of Oz no offense really its just that it looks a little greenish. XD I'm joking (but seriously, that ear of corn really looks like a portal ya know)

Yeah, I'm not too fond of the Swelter Badge myself. I'll probably redesign it, the Pearl Badge, and the Fae Badge eventually.
XD It was the only thing that came to mind that wasn't an overused fist or boxing glove. It's actually my favorite of this batch.

Design-wise or effect-wise?

Well, first I had to come up with what to base them on. I chose butterfly/fairy wings for Fairy, a muscular male torso for Fighting, an electric guitar headstock mixed with a lightning bolt for Electric, an oyster and pearls for Water, a sandbox for Ground, an ear of corn for Grass, a sun for Fire, and a snowflake/ice crystal resting on a cloud/pile of snow for Ice.
Next I had to simplify and abstract the objects I had in mind. I made small sketches of each on a piece of paper. If one had too much detail, I would redraw it until it looked more simplified. Most of the sketches looked like the final versions, but had a few more details (such as the Muscle Badge having a 6-pack) and weren't as geometric (the cloud/pile of snow on the Frost Badge were more rounded). To make the badges look more stylized and consistent I drew them all on a grid (I think I used a 7x7 grid for each).
And that was that. Just think of something that relates to the type, then simplify/abstract/stylize/geometicize the image.

I don't like the fire gym badge though. Well, no. How to put it right .. I DO like the design and stuff, it's well done after all. But I wouldn't have considered it being a fire-related badge tbh.

Really? I thought a sun would fit Fire just fine. It's a big ball of ignited gas, after all. Also makes for some hot summer days.
Even so, some official badges don't really seem to match their types. For instance, the Thunder Badge (Electric) resembles a sun (which, like my Swelter Badge, makes me think Fire), the Earth Badge (Ground) resembles a feather (which makes me think Flying), and the Balance Badge (Normal) resembles a dumbbell (which makes me think Steel or Fighting).

Except there are no widely-available Grass-types at this point. However, a patch of grass right outside the city has a couple decent-leveled Electric-types.
