I didn't know ^Platinus had featured it, so I shall go and thank him forthwith! This is the same structure as [link] (4 half-sized lazysusan transforms) but with the 4 transforms scaled up a little beyond 50% (60.5, to be exact!), giving that textural interfence

A technique I stumbled across a while back using 4 transforms at just above half-size to give a little interference

an excellent interpretation of the mentioned link~~in fact the similarities are very remote~~this one reminds me of an alien planet which may have been blasted by some cosmic debris~~~among other drifting thoughts!!!
thanks for sharing~~~

I have paired this excellent fractal with a poem in my journal [link]
If you would prefer that I don't include it, please let me know.

I wondered about submitting then thought it might be off-theme - but I should be delighted for it to be featured

Who knows what will be off-theme, when it is my ephemeral states of mind that make the choices? It has been posted.

The textures (or fractalness that creates textures) are lovely. It looks like graph paper that's been carried around in pockets.

Nah, just me playing: I think I should call this supra-ironic style 'negation by the outrageous opposite', but it's a mouthful. An acronymic 'noo' suggests itself, or perhaps, to highlight kinship but with an additional element of fire, 'yrony'

The secret is mainly in increasing size of all the triangles - the grid suddenly appears then. For gradient, I used one from here
