Description Blue and spacey is always good
Obviously based on Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama, although the smaller ships weren't mentioned there. But i guess in a 50km long vessel there has to be some kind of public transit system...

Comments and faves appreciated of course

great work, I just discovered the books a week ago and was searching for some visualisations to see if I imagined the Ramas world "correctly"... and what can be done with the theme becase it has a lot of potential... and I found very little good works so this is great.

Why? Why is this not a movie?

This is one of the many movies in "development hell". Many try to get it i n production but it is said the production cost alone would make 2001 look a film school project. No studio are willing to make such a huge gamble.

Unnoficially. Morgan Freeman if sighting to have it made. (He said so in an interview for Oblivion.)

It's beauiful, but it misses the 3 equidistant light bars !

Hm no, they're there... the bluish things with the hexagon pattern, two visible, only one is lit though (behind the left ship) because all 3 would have made it pretty flat looking

Love this one the most! The smaller ships could just be visitors discovering this wonderful ship for the first time.
Excellent work!

Awesome work. Read Rama years ago and this is probably one of the closest interpretations to what I always thought Rama looked like.

Only read the second one, but Arthur C Clarke is definitely an awesome choice for sci-fi. Great pic!
I prefer Asimov m'self, but that's more to do with the psychology / social look on robots & AI

I've only read the first one after hearing mixed reviews of the sequels...
I like Asimov too but prefer Clarkes topics in general

Thanks
