Description
The AT-55 "Vardo" is one of the most popular medium transports, with strong sales to humans and alien species alike. Its spacious cargo accomodations, sturdy construction and utilitarian design has made it the cornerstone of Kugler-Vaughn's independent sales and helped cement the company's image as an advocate for the free and independent trader.
Designed for the frontier, which can be a dangerous place, it is well armed with a pair of forward pulse laser cannons and a dorsal-mounted rail gun turret. It is built for neither speed nor luxury, however, though it can be easily upgraded and takes a wide range of universal parts, making maintenance much easier. Too much jury rigging and too many mods have been known to cause cascade failures in completely unrelated systems, however.
