For those who haven't yet seen them, these are the symbols for use in Neo Redux. All 18 official types are represented, plus Cosmic, Sound, Light, and Cyber (respectively, on the bottom). They were included merely because they are some of the most commonly requested "fan-types," and I was asked to create symbols for them.
Don't ask me what the type matchup for those types would be, either. I haven't thought about it, and since they aren't types that I necessarily agree with, I don't really plan to!
I did alter the "official" colors to those more of my liking.
UPDATE 12/9/11:
Dragon symbol is now the official Dragon-type TCG symbol found in the upcoming Dragon Selection set.
UPDATE 5/23/13:
With the new Fairy-type Pokémon appearing in Pokémon X/Y, I decided to create a symbol for the type, based on Sylveon's bow.
HUGE UPDATE 6/1/13:
I've decided to completely update the way the symbols are presented (a bit more stylized). The names of the types are now found underneath the symbols as well. Bird-type has been removed in this version. Please download for full-view!
UPDATE 6/11/13:
Looks like Fairy-type is real! The new Eeveelution, Sylveon, is confirmed Fairy, and Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir have Fairy added onto their original types. Another new Pokémon, Flabébé, has also been shown (pure Fairy).

Updated with the official Fairy-type symbol.

Out of your custom made types I really want to see the Light type be used in the Pokemon Universe.
No I don't want Light types being Normal or Psychic types cause they aren't the same as light I want Light types!!!

Yep -- it's commonly thought that Bird type was the prototype of the Flying type, evidently. Missingno is dual Bird/Normal type in the games.

Like a healing type...similar to something like a White Mage in Final Fantasy? Interesting, though I see it as even less of a viable option than the three I have listed. Just for fun, though, what do you think the symbol would look like? Like a first aid cross? Perhaps a bandage, maybe?

Your guess is as good as mine! When I was making my Neo Redux blanks, I asked what "other" types people would like to see -- those were the predominant types mentioned. I merely made the symbols, not the actual types.

Those weren't requested...I'm not sure they'd make great types, either. Magic is like Psychic, Wind like Flying and Chemical like Poison...and I couldn't see Animal ever becoming a type.

Neo Redux is the fake card set I'm working on. It's being made on Neo-era card templates as that was the height of my interest in Pokémon, and I thought redux was a fitting title for a Neo-era set.

wow long time i haven't played the TGC but they should release another version for console like the DS... they make only two versions for the GBC and the 2nd one was only in japan (i hate when release games only there D:< )

Cosmic would be Clefairy, Jirachi, Dexoys, (etc?)
Sound would be Exploud, Jigglypuff, Chatot, etc...
Light would be Arceus. Only Arceus can fit that discription.
I always think of poision to be purple... (probally because of grimer, koffing, ekans, venonat, etc) ...but I guess it fits for Bulbasaur.

Spot on, ShoutingRyan. However, this theoretical Light also included physical brightness...meaning Pokémon such as Ampharos, in addition to "goodness."
I always associated Poison with green, simply because of the abundance of Grass/Poison and Bug/Poison Pokémon in the first gen, two types also commonly associated with the color. I definitely see the connection with purple though, and like you point out, it's evident the developers had correlated Poison types with purple from the very first gen. But purely from an aesthetic standpoint, purple was already a color in the TCG, so I needed something different that could stand out.

I was trying to think of theoretical light, but just couldn't think of any.
Well, with it being green, I actually sat there (after reading what was what) and couldn't think of what it would be... maybe some crossbones could make the color irrelevant.
