Description
Which District are you in?I did a little research and made my own map based on basic common sense and some simple conjectures, as well as facts from the book (some of which were a bit conflicting, which made it hard to integrate). Original map from [link]
I MADE THIS MAP FOR FUN. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE PERFECT - THERE ARE ERRORS, AND I AM WELL AWARE OF THAT, THANK YOU.
I'm just a regular fan who wanted a visual representation of the Hunger Games world. Keep in mind that I made this map in about half an hour, and there are far more accurately researched maps out there (such as this one [link] ) which I would suggest checking out for a better idea of where the districts might be. I hope you enjoy this! Feel free to share your ideas as to where you think the districts might be, but please, be considerate, constructive, and polite.

I live in the Salt Lake City area, which means I'd probably be just barely within the District 1 area.

I'd be dead. I live in Connecticut, which means it's submerged underwater.

Assuming the map is accurate, all but 5% of Florida is underground. But California sunk, so all is well.

As being from Texas, what I can see what makes sense in this map is that South Texas and Florida. But Mobile, Alabama didn't get flooded out? Also Texas is a wedge, it get higher as the you move away from the coast. Houston would flood long before Dallas became beach front property. I also doubt so much of Texas would be underwater, only Red State Hater Micheal Moore would believe that in his dreams. Also I think the Eastern part of California would be dry as well. I think Ohio would flood out before it would, visit King's Canyon Park, east of Fresno if you don't believe me!
What I also don't like about this map is that the Appalachians are above sea level and the Sierra Madre is underwater? The Sierra Madre peaks are typically twice as high as those in the Appalachian Range. They should at least be an island archipelago south of Panem, and Mexico City, Mexico (2,230 mts above sea level) would stay above water even if the whole of the United States would be underwater. That's my main problem with that Map.
