*please allow time to load*@_@ Uh oh, tut time.
Well people have been asking me how I do get smooth outlines and how I shade and while I feel that I am actually only an amateur myself (Coming up to a year now ^_^) if people feel I can help then I will certainly try my best too 
This part is the lineart, coming up is the gradient shading tut so expect that as soon as I get it uploaded, sorry for the typos I really suck and even though I checked over it I know I missed a few.
This is full size, if you want it any bigger just complain and I will be forced to put a bigger one up
Would people like the outline to practice with?

This is awesome! I have really shakey hands so even lining on a tablet makes my art look crummy. I used your tutorial to lineart this [link] The anatomy is off (it's old) but I really liked how it turned out. But gosh, all that hair!

I know me too! I am so glad actually because this way I can make smooth lines ^_^ My hands are so shaky I could never draw straight lines

Pfft I bet not. Photo's that are taken for like a memory are the best. People who try and try and try to get some crazy awsome shot ... they're the ones who tend to ruin everything haha. Besides for those amazing photographers out there ... think of how many pictures they took to get that one good shot

I know, I just don't think I have the patients to do serious photography. I love looking at picture and taking them but I don't have an eye for photos though >_<

This is done in Photoshop CS? Is that the one that comes after 7? I want to buy software to use and I am trying to figure out what would be good.................I have Vista, does that make a difference I wonder!>??

Hmm, I am not sure what CS comes after but I think you might be right... Well I use vista and everything works well so I shouldn't see why you would have a problem, although you might have to download a patch to get it to run proparly.

Wow, this is a really handy tutorial. That's the only thing I dislike about owning Photoshop Elements istead of CS2 or 3 - no pen tool! Y - Y

I have adobe photoshop cs3 extended (whatever that means) but as far as I can see there is no stroke path option!

You have CS3 @_@ Woah, I am in awe.
Hmm well I turned to my trusty friend google and I found the adobe help site which you may find useful. [link] From what I make of it you can either Alt+click and choose the stroke path button which should be somewhere on the palette menu or choose stroke path from the palette menu. To be honest I think they have changed a lot of things in CS3, it looks a lot different to what I have. I hope it helps though, if not note me a couple of screenshots from your adobe programme and I will have a look

Hah you don't have to, my dad uses it so I tried it on CS3 because I use old elements 2.0 and that one doesn't even has a pen tool

0.o I've always shied away from this kinda linearting - I do it by hand now, on paper with ink pens
But I'd love to take a crack at this way of doing it! Before I've always warred with a trembly hand and a stubborn, evil Intuous Wacom which refuses to behave with its opacity jitter -.- so I've fled in terror at the thought of doing lineart on computer.
