*please allow time to load*@_@ Uh oh, tut time.
Well people have been asking me how I do get smooth outlines and how I shade and while I feel that I am actually only an amateur myself (Coming up to a year now ^_^) if people feel I can help then I will certainly try my best too 
This part is the lineart, coming up is the gradient shading tut so expect that as soon as I get it uploaded, sorry for the typos I really suck and even though I checked over it I know I missed a few.
This is full size, if you want it any bigger just complain and I will be forced to put a bigger one up
Would people like the outline to practice with?

Not the evil Intuos @_@ that must be scary, if my tablet ever broke I think I would break down and have a panic attack. Its scary how reliant I am on it. Hehe well you don't really need a tablet only for the second part when you need it for the pressure ^_^ I would love to see what you come up with if you do have a go at this!

I think it has been broken ever since I bought it, which is a shame, but I found myself working without it the other day and nearly died...surprising what you think you can do without until you're without it

I would love to be able to draw mine without the pen tool like so many artists and still get lovely smooth lines but I doubt that will ever happen

I commend you for tackling the explanation of the pen tool. xD It takes ages for me to try and teach my friends at school, and that's with me there WITH them!

Neither do mine. xD None of them are interested in art at all. But in Multimedia class we had to draw and animate faces in Photoshop... so yeah it came to the point where I had to teach them. xD Well, they asked how I did mine. And the teacher was all flustered and was like 'Oh, you don't need to do it that way!!'

Looooooolll I bet everyone worshiped you then! I never had to do any art in photoshop because until late last year I didn't realise people could, hehe. Multimedia class sounds fun though, all we did in art was printing. Yuk.

It gets annoying having your name whined at you every few seconds, though. And then you feel like a teacher's pet. o_o
Multimedia isn't that great, honestly! We have to do acting/filming now, and drama = ech. I have terrible stage/camera fright and I simply. Can't. Act. xD

wow, this is amazing. At first I was all like O_o when I just read through it. But then I actually did it, and it's insane. I always turned away from sketching first on paper cause I hated inking it on the computer so much. But this looks like it will be really easy. I'll definitely try it when I need to line again

Yeah, I think I went slightly over the top in some places. There is a lot of words to take in but I didn't know where to cut down with the detail >_<
I don't know how people can do it on the computer, I try so hard but I give up and just turn to my sketchbook. But thanks, I can't wait to see what you come up with ^_^

Hmm, what programme do you use? I think some of the earlier versions of photoshop don't have this tool >_<

Well it should be there. On my programme it is on the left hand side of the tools palette just under my smudge/blur/sharpen tool.
