Look, I made an awesome pun in the title!Ahahahhahahahhhhhhhhh.....
Ah.
Well, it took me roughly 4 hours to pull this out.
And most of the time it was me struggling to make lineless art work and finally ending up lining Applejack.
I guess that I'll have to practice more on that side...
But hey, finally I managed to draw something that can be sent to EQD to celebrate best pony!

I like your art style and your shading is nice. The colors and value/space you chose to show are really nice and eye catching.

This was a very experimental piece... I tried a new style of shading, focused on the atmospheric lighting of the image.
But half-way I decided to experiment something else, so for me this drawing still isn't as right as I wanted it to be.
Don't get me wrong, I like what I drew... I'm just not sure about how all the elements are cooperating.

I can personally identify the correlation of the colors between the ground, the trees, and Applejack, with the sky and the lantern providing a contrast. The imagery of the reflection in her eyes is subtle to me and I personally enjoy that.
If your point of focus was creating an atmosphere, I think you've certainly done so.

It's hard to tell what I'm not sure about this drawing... a friend of mine, when I talked about this trouble of mine, pointed out that there's something off with how the fog works. He wasn't sure about what exactly was wrong with it, though.
