Hi there!It took me quite a long time to decide where to put this matte painting.
Finally it ended up here in the digital painting section, since I had more paint work to do then manipulation.
I think it's a good mix between photo manipulation and digital painting. 50/50
The character is Sophie Collier aka lockstock ([link] )! Thank you!
It's entirely done with Photoshop CS. (yes, it's still the old version!)

This has to be one of the most beautifully realistic fantasy artwork I have seen. Weirdly enough, something about this screams "Loire Valley" at me... perhaps its the castle.
