Description
This is my basic lighting tutorial of how I add light and shade most of my work. There are various techniques to highlight and shade, don't think i'm saying this is the only way. This is just how I do with my basic work.~Enjoy!

Basic and clear, thanks. Even a basic tutorial can fill gaps in understanding. In this case, the complete thickness of my head. Until reading this, had assumed that the pencil tool was unicolored- black=graphiteencil. Even though I have a box of most of the colors Berol pencil makes...go figure. Learn something new everyday! facepalm...

Yeah but I have no desire to and none of those basic programs (unless you count Gimp).
