It's another thing to become totally obsessed with, and stalk, someone.
Especially someone of the same sex.
Plus, he kind of acts gay.
And he has a rainbow on his shirt.
I think Nick put that rainbow there for a reason

Flapjack:
- thought he had a crush on a girl but it turned out he really did not love her. Specifically said "no I dont love you"
- told Captain Knuckles "whatever you say... my love"
- wears purple underwear!
- doted over by his mother all the time
-once licked the horn of a candy unicorn he was riding.. the horn had a rainbow pride pattern on it
Timon:
-has a over-caring mother and a harsh cold father figure, Uncle Max
- took up rearing Simba with Pumbaa in the conconventional family structure... two male parents.
- too weak to do his job like all the other male meerkats... preferred to break out into song and dance instead
- dressing up in drag and doing the hula more than once, moreso the second time he was confronted by his mom and Max where he then had a heart-to-heart about being able to live his own life, his mom saying "there's something different about him" with Max responing "yeah, HES WEARING A DRESS!!!!"
- the moment he and Pumbaa decided to live together... their eyes were very dreamy and they stared into each other's pretty romantic for friends... plus seeing that scene again made Timon break out crying
- voiced by Nathan Lane who is totally gay
- maintains a strong persona of a Hollywood/showbiz male diva... a culture well equated with gay culture.

wow.... I knod of expected to get an answer the other way around.
We all do need to consider though that modern animation companies will not at all EVER admit to a character as gay in a kids cartoon. they stay well on the side of the moralists and 'cutural warriors'.

true... its sad. thats why I liek characters like Bugs Bunny. He crossdesses. I learned about crossdessing because of him when I was a kid. It was very helpful for me whne I needed to understand about myself as I relaized I liked that stuff and was gay.

It doesn't specifically say that Timon is gay, but it does suggest it.
