The colored version of [link]Raphael of the TMNT, feeding his non-biological daughter Rachel, with his wife Kylee at his side, and looking rather grumpy because his clown of a brother Michelangelo thought the moment merited a photo-shoot. ^_^
I REALLY like the coloring on this one - I like that I get better with the colored pencils the more I use them. I also really like the way the background turned out. This is probably the most complicated background I've ever done and I think it has a nice, homey feel to it. Even the crappily drawn view through the doorway doesn't look so bad cus it's so small! Overall I'm very happy. I hope to continue on with my progress with this medium and these subjects as the summer goes on.

I actually had a story in my head worked out where she chose to be artificially inseminated after choosing a father from a sperm bank. Raphael could never legally adopt the baby, but he raised her like his own.

ohhhh. see i knew the comics were doing alot of weird things outside of the shows and films, especially with Raphael. so i wasn't sure if they got him married. One recent thing has Raphael basically being a 30s style detective in modern new york with an Emo goth girl, an 8 year old psychic and a 30 year old samurai chick as his team. so yeah,.

Hmm... If your still doing requests, I'd kinda' like to see a Leo/Karai pic - there's sadly not too many of those around (I guess people are mad at her from Exodus - even though she DID save their lives, and her behavior afterwards works for someone who's lost their only family member).
