So Gravity Falls has been back on the air for a month and nobody told me! True, that's not anyone's job, but still!After marathoning the latest episodes, I was SUPER inspired and I swear this scan doesn't do this pic justice. For one, the big scanner at work isn't linked ot our network, so I've gotta scrounge up a flash drive to get the full image scanned. THEN I've got a brand new tablet to use to color this guy! I vow to have this done before Halloween. It NEEDS to happen. Wish me luck!
I also need to write a story to go with this. Loose ideas so far, i.e. how do all these other characters wind up in Gravity Falls?:
-Zim & GIR interrupt Dib on his way to Space Camp and the ensuing chase leads them into town.
- Casper & the Ghostly Trio are hiding out from Kibosh (Casper having still failed to scare anyone in all the years he's been dead) and they think all of the supernatural activity in the town will help camouflage them from him.
- Poor Charles Deetz just wanted to have a relaxing vacation and take his daughter bird-watching! ^_^

This would be a really cool crossover. Poltergeists, ghosts and aliens would fit in great in a place like Gravity Falls.

i like the idea of casper and the trio hiding from kibosh in gravity fall so much stuff happens there that kibosh wouldn't even think they are there

a.) GF Season 2 has been super on-point for me. Just about every episode thus far has been really strong, and the animation has really stepped up its game since S1. So glad you're enjoying it too. 8D
b.) WOW the amount of energy and character in this pic is crazy-good. Every last character has something to do, and the way everyone and everything is bouncing off each other here is seriously just great (I especially love Dib and Dipper arguing over the journal). Your strong grasp of composition and lines helps keep the whole thing coherent and clean rather than overwhelming, too; I've fallen in love with your take on Stretch and Stinky all over again, for example, and you nail the GF characters perfectly, same with Beatelgeuse and Lydia. It's just so much fun to look over and soak it all in. GREAT job. ^w^

a.) OMG, I know, right?? I'm so happy I live in a world where this show exists - even if they haven't yet put the whole 1st season on DVD.
b.) And THANK YOU! I really had a ton of fun trying to figure out who was going to interact with who, and I did a lot of wikipedia-ing to get reference pics for all the characters to make sure I kept them true to their original designs, though with my own style layered on top, of course. ^_^ I'm glad it paid off!

It is! It's from a music video from Plastic Beach, but I actually forget which one! (Bad fan) The one shot in a real house in London. The pic is from the newspaper comic 2D was reading.
