I decided against adding the text on here, as it would breach copyright... basically this is the first pic in a series which shows Varjak basically doin some crazy Dragon-Ball-Z style power-up (well, not quite, it's a little more tastefully done, but still, you can't help but draw lines of comparison). In this pic, Varjak is breathing inwards. It's in two shades of grey cos the illustrations that are already in the book use this effect... and I thought it only fair to let myself do it too!

Indian ink and pooter did the flat grey colouring.
