Yes, I'm well aware it's winter XP ...
This one was a birthday gift for a friend. I wanted to do something colourful and I really liked this bird and have been wanting to paint it for a while
Painting is fun for me, I find working in colour relaxing. I'm still getting a hang of the medium and mixing my very limited colour palette but it's fun to see what I come up with ... mostly by accident ^^
I plan to upgrade my collection with a few more watercolour tubes and water soluble pencils because I feel like they would mix well together and give some pretty cool effects. I also need to learn the use of all of those different brushes .. cause I'm only using 2 of them

Done with Winsor and Newton watercolours, ink pen on Herlitz Watercolour paper
