Description
So here it is! It is finally finished! So here we have the father: Draken (left), the Mother: Dinimo (back), and female offspring: Topaz (Right).
Heheh I really liked how this came out. This was the first time I've ever really tried shading an entire drawing. I think it came out good though
I would also like to thank those of you who have helped me through this piece! Thank you so much for your help and critiques!
Please critique me! I would love some opinions on how this turned out and how I may improve for next time.

Youuuu need to use bigger paper! No, seriously, though. I've had a lot of people wish that I had the room on paper to expand the scene to a full picture. While this is an older piece in your gallery, and you've done a great job with your other pieces, if it is something that means so much to you, make it grandios! Granted, you love it anyway, right? X3 Plus I always thought the size of a sketchbook made it insanely easy to carry around for my drawing spurs, so I understand why you'd use one too.
Still, I love the families. Even though only the male was your character, more or less, it's a whole new type of creature and family that you've been able to create in your artwork. It is lovely, and invigorating to read and learn about.

I think it turned out great! Something I think you should work on now is giving your subjects... and "environment" this doesn't always have to be a full-blown background or setting, it just has to be something to dispel or break up the bright white negative space. It can add a lot to a piece, and give it a really good, finished feel. This can be as simple as adding some shading to the "floor" or just in the background. Here's a few simple environments in my works:
[link] - just a flat, colored background with a bit of texture.
[link] - this one was kind of required, because he's fading into it, but it's an example of a simple shaded background.
[link] - another shaded background, see how much a difference it makes, that picture just wouldn't be the same if they were standing there on a white page.
[link] - this one had a kind of vague definition to the floor, and a bit of texture as well.

o0o0o love the shading of these creatures
I would suggest you crop out the spirals to the sketchbook next time though, just for a nicer presentation of the drawing.
But other than that it's awesome!

this looks pretty good, i'm happy to see the changes that were made. all i have to say for that end of this one is focus on the light source. everything about this looks good the only thing you might think about for future drawings is the light source.

I like how you shaded it :3
Looks well done in depth, though I still see some multiple light sources (But overall, it's even in that way correct).
You did a great job on anatomy and muscle definition, but in my opinion, Topaz's arm looks a bit wrong placed.
The detail is great; these are very nice and quite imaginative creatures.
Keep that up, I'd say ^^

x) Thanks!!! Yea I know Topaz's leg is kinda funky but I just left it this way. And I know there are many light sources as well, I get that all the time... But then again, many light sources may not be such a bad thing if I get them right xD
Thank you ;D

Well with a negative attitude like that it would take longer to improve. Just go slowly step by step
There are also many tutorials here on DA that may help you! Just keep a positive attitude and sit down one day and just draw your mind away~
But if drawing isn't really your thing then it's still fine!
