Description
Someone once asked me how I make my macro shots, since I had some extra free time (and I was bored to death) I thought it would be fun to make a macro tutorial. These are some very basic things and I'm sure most of you'll find it rather tedious, but maybe it'll help someone who's just starting with macro

If this tutorial helped you feel free to post links to your macro shots, I'd love to see them

This is a handy tutorial. Can good macro photography still be made with a regular digital camera, Or is a professional camera ideal?

A professional camera and a good lens are ideal; however that doesn't mean that good macro photography can't be done with a cheap regular camera. I don't have a professional camera nor a macro lens and I think my macros aren't too bad I think it all comes down to practice..
I'm glad you find the tutorial handy

Nice tutorial. The result is stunning.
On a side note, The text is hard to read. I would say the contrast between the text color (white) and the background color (light pink) is not a good choice. Maybe darken the BG color or at least darken the drop shadow and tighten it up a bit. That would help.
Otherwise, Good Stuff!

Thank you
I adjusted the contrast a bit, I hope it's better now I would have changed the colors if I had the psd file but I ufortunately don't. So this was the best I could do.

Congrats, it's a very nice tutorial!
I don't know if "macro potion" was a typo or intentional, but either way, it's cute!

Thank you very much it was definitely a typo. But image having a macro potion, wouldn't that be cool

It would be awesome! Spray it over any photo, and it turns it into a macro
It could also work as a magnifier. People would spray it over a book and be able to read it without glasses
