Description tutorial for :

I was asked several times for a tutorial, so here we go !

/!\ I'm not colorist, this is not my job or whatsoever, It's just one of the methods I use.

Basically it's more a stuff to find tricks and the main direction.
so for example,If you take the basic lineart and try to color it using this method, you'll not ba able to have the same result !

I'm french and work on a french PS; I add screenshots to help in case my translation wouldn't be correct

I hope it will help some of you however

dude, you OWN! xD I don't usually like this type of comic style (it's what I call american style, not sure if I'm right xD) but I love your pictures! Even tho you draw mostly women, not hot men as I like xD I still think you rock (sry- my english suckz xD)

Hey I'm french so I'm not complaining about eventual wrong english :lol

And Yes, I belong to US comic style indeed, but I do use a very traditionnal approach in colors, even when it's digital

I'm sure it has helped a lot of people... and will continue to as people find it
I even love how you designed the tutorial page. The text styles and everything is beautifully put together

it's the trained graphic designer in me who took the place, because he was fed up with the actual drawer

well, the few tutorials I saw around here were really well designed, SO I think I couldn't just drop that on a white page, Beside I like when stuff are well done , so...

RSMRonda In reply to J-Estacado [2008-09-13 03:24:41 +0000 UTC]

I didn't know you were trained as a graphic designer too! Geez, no wonder you put things together so well. That's awesome.
