i love documenting my work. i've done a few in the past but not quite as extensive as this one.this is by far the biggest digital drawing i've worked on. over two weeks to finish (mostly overtime hours at work).
please zoom in and read how this thing was made. if you learned anything from it feel free to
the directions i gave are general directions. seriously, don't follow me word for word.

What version of Photoshop did you base your tutorial on? The command activates a "Group" command in CS2.

yeah damn that CS2.. we're having a love-hate relationship going on. you're right, it activates the group command on CS2. what you have to do is right click the layer and select the "clipping mask" option if you want it linked to the layer below it.
we've been spoiled with shortcuts. haha.

*LOL* Excellent. This oughtta make CGing a lot easier than that wretched marquis tool.
As operating systems and software become more complicated, I ain't gonna complain about some user-friendly spoilage.

Very nice work on the piece by the way, and a very informative tutorial for photoshop users who draw by hand then digitise the piece.
Like the way youve shown the progression of images at the bottom its a nice touch.
