Have you ever wondered what a colorist means when they say "flats" or how they go about selecting areas on one layer to paint in another, all the while being able to go back and select that area in the future, and no matter what you do it doesnt go outside of the lines?Its a HUGE time saver, taking down the time on a piece by half for me usually.
If you want to save time, speed up and maybe even earn a little extra cash, there are a need for flatters in the comics industry. Often it can be a gateway into being a colorist, as good flatting skills are a MUST.

Im glad I learned as much as I could from you before you started charging and went Patreon. I see you follow the xbox live tradition of charging just a bit more than the incremental point sytstem purchase rate. ie: $5 buys 400 points you charge, so you charge 500 points forcing somebody to buy $10 dollars in points to buy 1 tutorial. what do you do with the remainder buy brushes? or fuel the fire even more buying more points to get a whole 2 tutorials and still be in deficit . all for the glory of Nei?

Well really I set the point price based on the dollar conversion not so much how many you can buy for how many dollars.

yeah its whatever, and sorry for making such a statement of it, I don't wanna hate you for doing what I was originally encouraging you to do in the first place, and thats "make that money!"... but its like all of sudden everybody's a patreon, or their own enterprise er what. or maybe its just that I was never ambitious enough to get things rolling for myself.
