Description
Macro of a snowflake in Yellowstone.EDIT: Guys this is being stolen all over the internet. I can't even express how upset I am right this second. So voila, big-ass watermark and tiny view. Chances are it's coming down eventually, but it's late and I have work in the morning.

Actually it wasn't so much the camera as the lens. Which I'm still paying for, but it was worth it.

Thanks.
Yeah, I agree that the DOF could be better, certainly, but at the rate they were melting the fact that I got anything at all made me happy.

I can imagine. It's a pretty unique photo. As one of the commenters said: Its a pic you usually only see in schoolbooks or something

Well then apparently the suggester hasn't looked around dA very much for macros of snowflakes. This is pretty, but not all that exciting as far as snowflake macros go. Very nice job with the focus and contrast.

This is both fantastic and strangely surreal. It's hard to believe something like this can fill up an entire landscape for miles-if there's enough of them.
